Strategy for increased flexibility in the electricity system with smart grids

The report is a summary of the Strategy for increased flexibility presented in September 2017.

The strategy was developed by a working group consisting of representatives from trade, industry and government agencies.

The working group identified four areas that need to be developed, and a total of 20 activities within these four areas. This will create the preconditions needed for the development of services and products that stimulate flexibility in the electricity system.

When developing the strategy, the working group had a continuous dialogue with energy-actors, consumers, academia, soft- and hardware developers etc. This was to ensure that the working group would get sufficient input and a complete perspective of the area.
